What Our Logo Means To Us
The Footprint
The footprint logo appears on all our activities and it serves as a daily reminder to minimize our footprint by threading lightly on our Mother Earth, ourselves and on the feelings of others. At the same time it encourages us to maximize our footprint when it comes to our good works and our humanitarian endeavors and the excellence we strive to accomplish in everything we do. We believe that if you take care of the little things, the big things will take care of themselves, as big things are nothing more than an accumulation a lot of small things put together.
Footprints In The Sand
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
“Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You’d walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
Letter from the President,
My name is Arnav Shreyash. I am from India, and I am a 17-year-old teenager.
When I was 13-years-old I had a vision to create a beautiful world with sustainable working structures for all people and started working tirelessly to attain that goal. Currently I am working on my ideas and implementing them through several organizations and NGOs. As we know that our planet is not in good condition, and our social-political economic structure is also struggling due to weak leadership and insufficient participation of the people, I have created an organization called lnternational Youth Concerned Society (IYCS) with the help of an NGO, to empower youth to advocate on behalf of our current problems. I am also the Administrative Director of an NGO called ( Gaya Gokul Seva Sansthan) operating in India. Recently we created United Youth of the World as an organization where all the various youth organizations can merge and have one strong voice instead of many small voices.
I have been part of many humanitarian activities from providing food to helping students with education as well as the set-up free Medical Centers for everyone … I with my team, organized many international discussions and online activities through zoom sessions for creating more awareness of climate change. Thanks to contacts made at wespeakenglis pisa, I got a big opportunity to be a part of Boogie Rescue Squad, a Humanitarian Foundation being formed in Switzerland and to serve as president. This Foundation will provide support to the Ukraine people as well as other displaced people as a result of conflict, war, special military operations or natural or economic disasters.
I am anxiously awaiting the completion of of the foundation which will soon provide me with the appropriate platform and recourses to introduce and implement my ideas.
